X-rays by Robert Janker
The book shows X-ray images that were taken according to the setting descriptions in the "X-ray Imaging Technique, General Basics and Settings"*. Their reproduction in the black and white values of the original X-ray image allows direct comparison with the images taken in the practice. Often, it is not the whole format of the photograph that is reproduced, but only the section that is particularly important. This allows many images to be reproduced in original size and details to be better recognized. The Log-Etronik process was used in the reproductions. The X-ray image is juxtaposed with a drawing with reference numbers. This drawing is copied into a second X-ray image to facilitate the comparison between the image and the contour sketch. For the sake of clarity, a selection was made in the contour tracing. In the spinal images, for example, only one vertebral body and the adjacent sections are labeled; these apply mutatis mutandis to the other vertebrae. The parts of the image that are not essential for the representation and assessment of a part of the body are generally neither contoured nor provided with reference numbers. The selection and sequence of the image settings have been retained, so that the book can be used - as before - together with the X-ray technique 11. The anatomical drawings usually correspond to the Paris nomenclature of 1955, while terms that are no longer contained in the P.N.A. were taken from the Basel and Jena nomenclatures. If it seems appropriate for better orientation, the overarching anatomical term is added. In the index, the number before the slash refers to the number of the recording.| ISBN 13 | 9783642663437 |
