In a very different context than this book first makes him recognize, namely, in the attempt to introduce structural psychological ideas into psychopathology, it proved necessary to substantiate the constitutional problem and its relation to characterology from a genetic point of view. If he dispenses with an analysis and sticks to the holistic view of his object, then he comes close, like the formative Ktinstlel, to the secret of the wholeness.
