The coordinating function of the vestibular system has led to the collaboration of physiologists, neurologists, otologists and ophthalmologists. A wealth of examination methods was the result. Hardly any clinically active doctor has the opportunity to know all of them. For this reason, a guide has become necessary due to the increased material, which makes it easier for the beginner to get started, gives precise instructions to the examiner and serves as a reference work for the experienced. The book is intended to help medical assistants to better understand the examinations carried out every day. In order to remain clear, not all variations of an investigation method and not all publications are taken into account. Proven methods are presented and commented on. In order to present the chapters in a self-contained manner, repetitions were accepted. Based on the knowledge of the examination method, the second clinical volume assigns findings of clinical pictures and considers them differentially.
