Stimulation of bone formation by electric current by M Weigert
The question of a possible stimulation of new bone formation has been the subject of research for more than 100 years. To date, however, there is no method that would be suitable with any degree of certainty to accelerate the healing of a bone fracture by stimulating bone tissue development. Neither chemical, physical, dietetic, drug, climatic or neurodynamic methods have so far proven to be promising or practicable in humans, despite some partial results. The author has taken up the approaches developed in many places to influence osteogenesis with the help of electric current and has created an animal experimental basis through systematization, which allows a safe transfer of the methodology to humans. However, he also showed which paths of electrical therapy must be regarded as hopeless in this context. Whether the parameters determined in animal experiments also apply to the vital human bone will have to be learned in the future. But the way is shown with this fundamental work. G. Friedebold Acknowledgments I thank my esteemed boss, Prof. Dr. G. Friedebold (Director of the Orthopedic Clinic and Polyclinic of the Free University of Berlin in the Oskar-Helene-Heim), for giving me every support for this work. Some of the animal experiments were carried out in the Clinic for Animal Obstetrics at the Free University of Berlin (Director: Prof. Dr. H. J. Heidrich), with the always helpful support of Mr. Senior Physician Prof. Dr. MΓΌller.| ISBN 13 | 9783540065111 |

"I was paying $11.99/month for Kindle Unlimited but realized I was renting books, not owning them. Bought this PDF and it's mine forever. Never going back to Kindle."
"Switched from Kindle to these PDFs. Same book, but I actually OWN it now. No monthly fees, no app required. Worth every penny."
"Kindle Unlimited kept raising prices. This is a one-time purchase and the file is permanently on my iPad. Best decision I've made for my reading habit."
"I compared Kindle vs this store. Kindle is cheaper monthly but you don't own anything. Here I paid once and the PDF is mine for life. Highly recommend."
"Left Kindle behind after they removed a book I was reading mid-series. With this PDF, nobody can take it away from me. True ownership feels good."
"Was skeptical about paying $18.95 when Kindle shows $3.99, but then I did the math β Kindle Unlimited is $143/year! This is way better value long term."
"Love that I can read this on any device without installing the Kindle app. The PDF works on my laptop, phone, and tablet seamlessly. So much freedom."
"My Kindle subscription was getting expensive. Switched to buying PDFs here and I'm saving money while actually building a permanent digital library I control."
