Nuclear Medicine by H Hundeshagen
The early days of the field, which we now call nuclear medicine, can be traced back to the years 1935, 1938 and 1940. Scientists such as J. H. LAWRENCE, J. G. HAMILTON, G. HEVESY, S. HERTZ should be named here as representatives of the large number of those who were successful in the first years of the beginning of a rapid development of a field. The use of open, clinical radionuk1ides in research, clinical diagnostics and therapy has a basis that rests on three Siiu1s: niim1ich radiophar- maka, geriatric technology and radiation protection. This basic instrument of nuclear medicine has been omitted in this first part of the Handbook of Medical Radiomedicine. A second part1 deals with diagnostics, therapy and clinical research (Handbuch der Medizinische Radio1ogie, Band XV /2). If one compares the development of the field of nuclear medicine with other specialties, the result is a development which, in the shortest possible time, shows considerable progress in terms of experimental technology, i. e. radiopharmaceuticals and geriatric technology, as well as in terms of kinetic application. These are such that in the preparation of the first two tables of nuclear medicine within this series of handbooks, it became clear that further parts were needed to deal with developments, particularly in the field of emission computed tomography, the use of cyclotron produced short-sleeved positron radios, data processing and some rapidly developing clinical applications (Volumes XV f1 B and Volumes XV/3). However, it also seems important to us to consider radiation protection and the impact of radiation protection measures and laws in the individual countries.| ISBN 13 | 9783642811876 |

"I was paying $11.99/month for Kindle Unlimited but realized I was renting books, not owning them. Bought this PDF and it's mine forever. Never going back to Kindle."
"Switched from Kindle to these PDFs. Same book, but I actually OWN it now. No monthly fees, no app required. Worth every penny."
"Kindle Unlimited kept raising prices. This is a one-time purchase and the file is permanently on my iPad. Best decision I've made for my reading habit."
"I compared Kindle vs this store. Kindle is cheaper monthly but you don't own anything. Here I paid once and the PDF is mine for life. Highly recommend."
"Left Kindle behind after they removed a book I was reading mid-series. With this PDF, nobody can take it away from me. True ownership feels good."
"Was skeptical about paying $18.95 when Kindle shows $3.99, but then I did the math — Kindle Unlimited is $143/year! This is way better value long term."
"Love that I can read this on any device without installing the Kindle app. The PDF works on my laptop, phone, and tablet seamlessly. So much freedom."
"My Kindle subscription was getting expensive. Switched to buying PDFs here and I'm saving money while actually building a permanent digital library I control."
