In this book, the most important legal terms that the medical expert should know are explained clearly, compactly and, above all, precisely. · On 01.01.2024, SGB XIV came into force with new bases for claims and facilitations of proof previously unknown in social legislation
· From 2021, the Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act was amended. The remuneration of the medical expert, which is also the basis of numerous remuneration regulations outside the law, has been increased, and the allocation of the services of the medical expert to the individual remuneration groups (M1 to M3) has been changed.
· As of 01.07.2023, the remuneration of expert opinions for employers' liability insurance associations and accident insurance funds has been increased (UV-GOÄ).
· As of 01.01.2021, the obligation to cease and desist has ceased to apply. 9 of the 80 occupational diseases provided for the cessation of the activity to be discussed as the cause of the illness as a prerequisite for the offence. This was replaced by obligations to cooperate.
· A large number of legal changes and current court decisions were also taken into account.
