Elbow injuries by Caius Burri
From 19 to 21 February 1981, the 14th workshop on clinical traumatology took place at Schlo Reisensburg. 43 experts dealt with the problem of elbow injuries, whereby the biomechanics, pathophysiology, diagnosis, therapy and aftercare of the trauma consequences of this important joint were dealt with in preliminary and extensive discussions. The topic included fractures of the distal humerus, the olecranon and the radial head, the concomitant injuries of muscles, tendons and nerves as well as the vessels, the dislocations, the special problems in the child as well as the treatment guidelines for follow-up conditions, such as pseudarthrosis and joint stiffness. The result that dislocated fractures in the area of the elbow joint can be treated with stable osteosynthesis according to the principles of AO - certainly in active people - is probably no longer too surprising. Greater emphasis was placed on the specific indications for surgical procedures for the child and the treatment of dislocations. Here, new therapeutic concepts seem to be emerging that amount to early mobilization. The discussions on the treatment of follow-up drugs show that various possibilities can decisively improve poor results after conservative or surgical therapy. Here, a lot can be achieved for the patient by secondary surgery, arthrolysis, arthroplasty or, in rare cases, even alloarthroplasty or arthrodesis.| ISBN 13 | 9783540110286 |

"I was paying $11.99/month for Kindle Unlimited but realized I was renting books, not owning them. Bought this PDF and it's mine forever. Never going back to Kindle."
"Switched from Kindle to these PDFs. Same book, but I actually OWN it now. No monthly fees, no app required. Worth every penny."
"Kindle Unlimited kept raising prices. This is a one-time purchase and the file is permanently on my iPad. Best decision I've made for my reading habit."
"I compared Kindle vs this store. Kindle is cheaper monthly but you don't own anything. Here I paid once and the PDF is mine for life. Highly recommend."
"Left Kindle behind after they removed a book I was reading mid-series. With this PDF, nobody can take it away from me. True ownership feels good."
"Was skeptical about paying $18.95 when Kindle shows $3.99, but then I did the math โ Kindle Unlimited is $143/year! This is way better value long term."
"Love that I can read this on any device without installing the Kindle app. The PDF works on my laptop, phone, and tablet seamlessly. So much freedom."
"My Kindle subscription was getting expensive. Switched to buying PDFs here and I'm saving money while actually building a permanent digital library I control."
