Druggists' Lexicon by Hans Irion
This third volume concludes the Druggists' Lexicon. In Part I, Technical Technology, it deals with the work in the company and laboratory and the necessary equipment and apparatus on almost one hundred pages. This specialist technique must be mastered by anyone who wants to produce preparations and preparations in accordance with the regulations. The alphabetical arrangement of the individual works already gives the apprentice the opportunity to quickly orient himself on details. Reference is often made to the explanations in Volume I (The Scientific Foundations of Druggists' Practice) and in Volume II (Chemicals: progen, important physical terms in lexical order), so that the practitioner can fall back on the scientific subject matter. Beauty care and cosmetics, which have now become a science in their own right, are taken into account accordingly. The important basic facts of the anatomy and physiology of the cosmetically important organs, skin, hair, nails, mouth and ziihne, were not forgotten; nor do the general principles of hygiene. The oversized field of photography, for which there is a separate, versatile literature, is deliberately treated only as a brief rubbish. The general and extremely versatile part of this volume is also based on the editor's long-standing experience as a druggist and pharmacist and on his thorough and critical study of the scientific and practical-technical literature. rm part of the regulations are in the provisions of the DAB. 6 and Erg. -B. 6 in each case to use the stofi'e listed there in the prescribed strengths and degrees of purity. In the case of the individual regulations, instructions for the manufacture are only given if this is necessary for the skilled person.| ISBN 13 | 9783642927249 |
