Diseases of the heart and vessels by Oskar Burwinkel
The diseases of no organ threaten health and life as often as diseases of the circulatory organs. They occupy a pre-eminent position in pathology, since they meet every physician daily in their manifold forms, whether he is in general practice or whether he is engaged in a specialty. One often hears Kollegell complain that the works on heart and vascular diseases published so far do not correspond sufficiently to practical uses, since they either serve more didactic purposes or are considered to be too extensive for special studies. It therefore does not seem to be an unprofitable undertaking; to fill this gap and to present in a concise form the matter of circulatory pathology, which is by no means easy to overlook. This view seems all the more justified because it is precisely this field that has been worked on and expanded exceedingly diligently in recent years: physiology has taught many new, sometimes brilliant facts, unexpected diagnostic means have been introduced, and above all the therapeutic apparatus has grown and complicated in such a way that it is no longer the better, but the many that has become the enemy of the good. as the critical F. A. Hoffmann rightly points out.| ISBN 13 | 9783642896002 |

"Kindle Unlimited kept raising prices. This is a one-time purchase and the file is permanently on my iPad. Best decision I've made for my reading habit."
"I compared Kindle vs this store. Kindle is cheaper monthly but you don't own anything. Here I paid once and the PDF is mine for life. Highly recommend."
"Left Kindle behind after they removed a book I was reading mid-series. With this PDF, nobody can take it away from me. True ownership feels good."
"Was skeptical about paying $18.95 when Kindle shows $3.99, but then I did the math โ Kindle Unlimited is $143/year! This is way better value long term."
"Love that I can read this on any device without installing the Kindle app. The PDF works on my laptop, phone, and tablet seamlessly. So much freedom."
"My Kindle subscription was getting expensive. Switched to buying PDFs here and I'm saving money while actually building a permanent digital library I control."
