Diseases Through Actinomycetes and Related Pathogens Interaction Between Pathogenic Fungi and Host Organisms by Hans-Joachim Heite
of the Chairman of the German-speaking Molecular Society, Prof. Dr. med. H. Götz, Essen This brochure contains the lectures of the 4th scientific conference of the German-speaking Mycological Society in Freiburg/Br. on October 30 and 31, 1964. The first main topic deals with diseases caused by actinomycetes and related pathogens. Even if these are not mycetes in the strict sense of the word, but bacteria-like microbes, we did not want to refrain from dealing with this border region for historical reasons, especially since the 1961, 1962 and 1963 brochures of this series contain the reports of our society's meetings on the actual fungi such as dermatophytes, yeasts and moulds as the main topics of previous conferences. In addition, the development of the German-speaking Mycological Society to date has shown that hygienists, microbiologists, bacteriologists and mycologists are able to do particularly fruitful work in the diseases under discussion precisely through their cooperation with human and veterinary physicians from all disciplines. In this sense, the second main theme of the conference, interactions between pathogenic fungi and host organisms, received undivided attention. The constantly increasing number of members of our Mycological Society proves how great the interest in fungal diseases, which have long been treated as the stepchild of medicine, have become. Participation from the Federal Republic of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, France and the Netherlands was remarkably lively and particularly demonstrated the warm solidarity of all members and interested parties of the large international family of scientists.| ISBN 13 | 9783540038917 |

"I was paying $11.99/month for Kindle Unlimited but realized I was renting books, not owning them. Bought this PDF and it's mine forever. Never going back to Kindle."
"Switched from Kindle to these PDFs. Same book, but I actually OWN it now. No monthly fees, no app required. Worth every penny."
"Kindle Unlimited kept raising prices. This is a one-time purchase and the file is permanently on my iPad. Best decision I've made for my reading habit."
"I compared Kindle vs this store. Kindle is cheaper monthly but you don't own anything. Here I paid once and the PDF is mine for life. Highly recommend."
"Left Kindle behind after they removed a book I was reading mid-series. With this PDF, nobody can take it away from me. True ownership feels good."
"Was skeptical about paying $18.95 when Kindle shows $3.99, but then I did the math — Kindle Unlimited is $143/year! This is way better value long term."
"Love that I can read this on any device without installing the Kindle app. The PDF works on my laptop, phone, and tablet seamlessly. So much freedom."
"My Kindle subscription was getting expensive. Switched to buying PDFs here and I'm saving money while actually building a permanent digital library I control."
