Weiterbildung 1 by F W Ahnefeld
The new series of publications on specialist nursing begins with a volume on anaesthesia and intensive care. For years, the German Society for Anaesthesia and Resuscitation (DGA W) has been trying to develop a useful concept for the further training of nursing staff and has also carried out a number of courses on the recommendation of Professor KURT WIEMERS. The extent of the subject matter, time for sufficient practical practice and new laws prompted the DGAW Priisidium to recommend a two-year period of further training on 1 January 1974. Most anesthesia departments in the Federal Republic of Germany have now followed suit. This further training, which began as a private initiative and is now being continued with the support of the Employment Promotion Act, unfortunately has to do without state stipulation to this day; although it is now also becoming apparent that the DGA W, together with the German Hospital Association and the Public Services, Transport and Traffic Union, will be able to reach an agreement with the legislators of the federal government. Such a legal regulation is urgent, because the pioneering era of anesthesiology in this country is coming to an end. The diversity of anaesthesia methods and apparatus as well as the devices for ventilation and monitoring of our patients, the increasing insight into pathophysiology and the development of new therapies are constantly demanding more knowledge, more practical experience and familiarisation with new positions with greater responsibility from doctors and nurses. For continuing education, this means that more basic theoretical knowledge must be imparted and sufficient practical experience must be gained. The DGA W is the first professional society to have developed a clear further training programme for precisely defined functions within nursing.| ISBN 13 | 9783540071150 |

"I was paying $11.99/month for Kindle Unlimited but realized I was renting books, not owning them. Bought this PDF and it's mine forever. Never going back to Kindle."
"Switched from Kindle to these PDFs. Same book, but I actually OWN it now. No monthly fees, no app required. Worth every penny."
"Kindle Unlimited kept raising prices. This is a one-time purchase and the file is permanently on my iPad. Best decision I've made for my reading habit."
"I compared Kindle vs this store. Kindle is cheaper monthly but you don't own anything. Here I paid once and the PDF is mine for life. Highly recommend."
"Left Kindle behind after they removed a book I was reading mid-series. With this PDF, nobody can take it away from me. True ownership feels good."
"Was skeptical about paying $18.95 when Kindle shows $3.99, but then I did the math — Kindle Unlimited is $143/year! This is way better value long term."
"Love that I can read this on any device without installing the Kindle app. The PDF works on my laptop, phone, and tablet seamlessly. So much freedom."
"My Kindle subscription was getting expensive. Switched to buying PDFs here and I'm saving money while actually building a permanent digital library I control."
